Brenton Spies took me on a field trip to the California Estuaries, where we learned about water salinity, animals of the wetlands and we even taste tested an edible plant called pickleweed!
This video is a great supplemental tool for teachers. I’m told it pairs well with 3rd, 4th and 5th grade Earth Science units 🙂

I attended the 2019 Scuba Diving Industry Convention, DEMA, on November 13th and it was a day of finding new scuba related products and catching up with old friends.
Several weeks ago I ventured to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Riviera Beach, and West Palm Beach. I snorkeled in 3 locations and they were all great.
Usually when I ask people “What is your favorite species of shark and why?” The most common answer is the Megalodon or the Great White. In an exhibit hall of shark lovers, I got many various answers for many various reasons. Check out this Friends with Fins video:
